Walter J. Phillips: Watercolors Boxed Notecards
20 blank notecards (5 each of 4 designs) with envelopes in a decorative box and printed on recycled paper. Although he would become best known for his color woodcuts, Walter J. Phillips was an acclaimed watercolorist. Travels around Canada provided both inspiration and subject matter, and his watercolors reflect his sensitivity to the environment.
The four paintings featured in this notecard set exemplify his ability to depict landscapes with color variations and depth not commonly associated with the medium.
